Welcome to Becker Vineyards! Celebrating 20 years of viticulture & award winning winemaking in the heart of the Texas Hill Country Wineries.
Experience ‘THE LIBRARY”: Tank, Barrel and Vertical Taste Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-picked from The Becker’s private collection.
Becker Vineyards’ winery is a 10,000 square foot reproduction of a late 19th century German stone barn, a style prevalent in the Texas Hill Country. Since first opening in 1996, two winery expansions have taken place to accommodate 64 tanks and over 2000 barrels. The winery is the largest purchaser of of French and American Oak barrels in Texas. Used barrels are often for sale but go quickly, please call the tasting room for availability. Guided tours are conducted hourly on weekends and on a limited basis during the week. The production and bottling operation is year round. Our state of the art Italian designed bottling equipment, processes 55 bottles per minute. Many of our wines are fully distributed throughout Texas, but check in the tasting room for winery-exclusive offerings.

We are an alcohol oriented business not a public park and we do not have activities or a play area for children; however, supervised children are allowed on the property every day except Sundays.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at the winery, but leashes are required.
We recently made the decision to go 100% smoke free on the entire winery premises and wanted to let our patrons and visitors know. If you are a smoker and plan on coming to the winery, make sure you understand we have a zero tolerance policy and you will not be allowed to smoke anywhere on our property.
Tuscany in Texas!
A limestone campanile, or bell tower, stands at the edge of the road silently declaring there is something significant here, something you shouldn’t pass by. So you turn onto the gravel drive and wind your way up the hill through rows of Chenin Blanc grapevines until you reach the rustic villa at the top. It’s sun-drenched ochre walls, roughhewn, massive wood beams buttressing a dappled clay tile roof, oak-shaded patios, fountain, and rows of grapevines stretching toward the horizon are exactly how you pictured Tuscany would be. But you’re not in Italy, you’re in Fredericksburg, Texas. –Chris Dunn, Taste Magazine
Typically Saturdays are our busiest days. We usually have music on the patios and food providers (crepes, wood-fired pizza or bbq in addition to our picnic market plus Stout’s at Grape Creek Vineyards Trattoria is scheduled to open Fall 2014) on Saturday afternoons and when we do Wine Road 290 events they are also on Saturday. It is a fun, festive environment and you can expect a little bit of a wait on these days. We open up both of our fully appointed tasting rooms, have a much larger staff on board for tastings, as well as, a greeter to give you a sense of the options for the day. As an added benefit, if you “Join the Family” and purchase three bottle of wine we will refund up to two tasting fees.
On Saturdays we conduct tram vineyard tours every 30 minutes (limited to 20 people per tour) including a tasting wine aging in French and American oak barrels.
